Mom-

My mom spent here time differently by playing outside more. When you had to research a paper you had to go to the library and use encyclopedias and microfilm. Back then it was easier because you didnt have you learn as much about technology. It took longer to communicate with people because if you called them they didnt have answering machines or caller ID so you had to keep calling them until they picked up instead of just IMing.

Grandpa-

HE spent his time differently by spending time outside and playing cards and boardgames. I was hard to learn about the world because you didnt get much information from anywere else because they didnt have much TV.  It was easier to relax because you never had to worry about fixing your computer or it breaking down when you had to print a picture.  He had to make a lot of phone calls because he could not send a message on the internet to them.

Dad-

Without the internet my dad watched more television and spent more time outside.  Wthout the internet it was harder to look information up. It was easier because you didnt waste time looking up unneccsary facts or information.  He said it hasnt effected his life much other than now he sends email all the time.
